It is common knowledge that the market for aircooled Porsches is - behold, wordplay - more and more overheating. It is questionable, if stock Porsches will enjoy that kind of drive up in value for longer.

But even more questionable is how modyfied examples will do, especially the unconventional builds of Nakai-san, which are not exponetially popular among purist collectors.

What is your opinion?

I don’t think very many will be up for sale, each car is crafted for its owner and I can’t see too many people selling them in the near future. And As you have to drop around 100k just to afford the car and the kit I figure they will be pretty expensive. But purists won't touch them, I figure the main market will be people who can't afford them now but will look back with nostalgia once they have their lives and incomes sorted out

novice opinion. I see these taking a wild swing. A) its a highly polarizing and subjective build. B) I think it depends on how many are made. If he makes 500 i don’t think a huge amount as it won’t be unique. As they have gone from custom one of kind to more of mainstream brand if you will I see these losing their rarity. C) it depends on the legacy of Nakai-san. He has the chain smoking no-fuchs-givin artist thing going.
